Our fall family photos I took on Sunday came out so good! I’m really happy with the way they turned out, and I saved a few hundred by just doing them myself!
We’ll most likely use 1 or 2 of them for our holiday cards, which I’m super excited about. I found a great layout through Tiny Prints that I want to use.
This was our first pose of the day, and I think this is by far my favorite. We’re a bit off center, but since we’ll most likely use this one for our holiday card, a lot of the excess sides are going to be lopped off.
I then zoomed in a bit more and tried being on the other side of my husband. We really like this one as well, and it’s so cute that Rylie has a leaf in her hand. She LOVED playing in the huge pile of leaves between takes.
We took a few more snaps but Rylie was getting pretty irritated and wanted to run around in the leaves, so I snapped this one as she was playing. It’s a bit blurry since she was moving (didn’t have the right camera settings) but it’s still a favorite of mine. She looks like such a little diva in this picture.
As we were winding down, getting ready to leave, my husband and daughter were playing peek-a-boo. She absolutely loved running around chasing daddy.
Overall, I feel like I did a good job. Are they super awesome and professionally done? No, but that’s not what matters. What matters is that we have cute family photos that I actually took myself!
