Yesterday, Rylie and I went to Target to get a few things we’ll need for this week, and we saw this adorable pumpkin decorating kit that Rylie went nuts for. Can you guess what it was?
You guessed it….Elsa. This kid is still crazy about Frozen (and Frozen Fever) and is going to be Elsa for Halloween this year, and it came out at the end of 2013 when she was only 8 months old. Crazy!
Of course, this kit is supposed to be for ages 5+, but I did “most” of the hard work. She helped me paint for the most part.
Rylie really had such a great time painting the pumpkin. She loves anything with arts and crafts, and so this was right up her alley.
We did 2 coats to let it dry, and then I poked holes with a small knife where the Elsa/snowflake decorations were going to go and she helped me pop them into the pumpkin.
I think we did a pretty good job! We didn’t go for a completely covered pumpkin, but I think the 2 coats gave us a really good look.
Did your kiddo decorate a pumpkin this year? What did they create?
Disclaimer: I purchased this decorating kit with my own money, this is NOT a review. Just a post about my adorable daughter decorating a pumpkin.
